He actually tears the cars down and installs the 311RS package himself. It's a build in the aftermarket sense, so no, he did it himself. I've said this everywhere, but there are people who will understand this car and what it means, and people who'll ask why someone would spend $49k for an Evo. That's just how it is.

Ryan's a great guy who has done more for racing development on the Evo X as a platform than most will ever know. He's a community asset and this is his way of giving back.

There are rear doors & a cage on the 311RS shown because the roll cage is an optional feature that can be unbolted and folded. Roll cages aren't street smart for all sorts of safety/insurance reasons and the 311RS is for both street & track use.

True but like he said it's more about the thrill of the drive. I have to admit I do like a good interior but when your driving it doesn't matter.
