One weird fact about the Maya is that they are still in many parts of Belize, Mexico and Guatemala! So the civilization morphed, it did not disappear.

One thing you forgot to include is the answer to where the Mayans went. While their civilization collapsed, the Mayan people are still around in Mexico and Belize as well as other Central American states. They did not disappear as a people. They just carried on farming and trying to survive persecution. Today some of them are relearning the ancient script of their ancestors and trying to rediscover their history.

My boyfriend is from Yucatan, he's Mayan and his family even speak the dialect but he hated his big nose 👃🏼 if he were to live back then he'd be so happy 😊 😂

Man, this is something else. Alcohol enemas sounds like something you would hear about from an episode of 1000 ways to die. Elongated skulls I heard about from Seriously Strange.

The stairs, stairwells, stair cases, steps, stoops, and ramps could also add that background yeah

One of my cats is cross eyed (not uncommon for blue eyes) and it’s adorable but she does have some issues because of it. Her depth perception is horrendous for far things but she can function perfectly fine as an indoor cat. I wouldn’t let her outside not on a leash because she is kinda blind and could get hurt. Again, it’s super cute but I’d never do it intentionally because it could impact her quality of life

Sharping your teeth to points sends a message that transcends time.
Imagine a modern Mayan Empire.

You should have the stingray spine bloodletting ritual added to the list.

Id like to point out that most gladiator games didn't end up with someone dead. Neither did people in most sports throughout history. If you don't count warfare as sport.
Well even warfare among greek states were fairly tame. They typically just faced up in a phalanx and went at it till one side gave up.
