Corvettes even with traction control and magnetic ride control can brake loose on you. I've had it happen to me. They lull you into over confidence if you lack experience.

Should have stayed in it, i have a C5 and the weight is so well balanced that its pretty easy to control in a slide like that when the traction brakes loose, just keep the peddle basically at the same amount of throttle the whole time and it will steer where ever you turn the f-n fun

(didnt seem to be any traffic or on coming traffic so i would have stayed in the throttle!- even if it spun out it would still have been rad)

That is an RK5 hood, made by RK Sport. It was designed specifically to fit the MP112 supercharger. I have one, and they are very well made.
