From what I remembered according to several letters between Delilah and Arther, they treat the Toons in completely different ways
Arther refers to the Toons by their name (Dandy, Astro, etc), while Delilah refers to the Toons by their serial numbers (L-001, M-002, etc)
This could signify that Arther treats the Toons like his own children and genuinely cares about them
While Delilah only saw the Toons as props/subjects that could be replaceable and easily manipulative with them
