I, for one, think this is a great line. It really shows just how much Celebrimbor's hubris has evolved while wearing the One Ring.

Guys call down, this game isn't destroying the lore or story of the lord of the rings, its just taking what they have and moving it towards a different direction. There is no way in hell this would be canon to the books or the movies because many things don't correspond with them. So call down and don't play the game if you don't want to. I personally love the game and i love the lotr books and movies, and i know a good amount about the history of middle earth so no need to be so hasty to conclusions, just play and have fun.

Now *that's* DLC, making Shadow Of Mordor better than it already is, and adds more replayability for people who haven't played the game yet. I dont remember a lot of Lord Of The Rings games where we get to fight Sauron. The only one I can think of, is Lord Of The Rings Conquest, but thats it. So being able to fight Sauron, that alone makes this worth buying.

I love the original story (even read the Silmarillion) and I know they are going really non-cannon... but this story and the gameplay around it is amazing. I just went back to beat the game again and loved it, it really holds up even with today's competition. You can tell the people who wrote the story are massive fans because it's got "greatest fan-fic EVER" written all over it in a good way.

I just want to thank the people who made this game and especially who wrote the story. I've got pretty high standards yet this game gave me dozens of hours of intense fun and a story that gave me crazy chills and inspiration as a writer and role-player.

I really hope this gets a sequel because Shadow of Mordor gave me an itch for a kind of fluid combat that you can't really find anywhere else.

Celebrimbor is awesome even though in the game he is exaggerated to being the bright lord he is still cool over all.

I usually never buy DLC's but this will be the exception! Super amped for it!

Take note, this product is true DLC.
It is an actual expansion to the core game with its own events, cutscenes and challenges, but was not obviously cut out of the vanilla game. I'll wait a bit to try it, but I look forward to more orc-slaughter.
