In fact the changes are so minor i would prefer to have the old one with the big V8 engines instead this facelift one with its funny small engines, powerful but "drama free" and I consider it as seriously uncool. The think I like is the new steering wheel looks way better then before

I have an S350d L and it had rattles for the first 15 months. The dealer eventually sorted them out. So the initial ownership was not great. But for the last 7 months I am very much enjoying the S Class. I normally drive 7 Series. They always were a let down. I have looked at the new 7 but it feels small inside after getting out of the S. Overall I wish the S had a better iDrive system with more intuitive steering controls, but for the first time in a long time, I am not looking to change my car I ust like it.

They butchered the 500 moniker!!! When you told someone you had a 500 Benz they knew you had the big boy V8 in it. Now the 500 lost its meaning. 10 rears from now the 500 series will be refering to a 3-cylinder...

They can add all the stiff they want, but can it last 7 years with out any electrical problems

I prefer audi, its more aesthetically pleasing and more modern technology

So they add a few minor features and Class it as a facelift. Of course no one will care as they bow down to the S Class which in actual fact isn't as good as it's perceived to be. The A8 or the 7 series are far better vehicles.
