A career as an Occupational Hygienist is extremely dynamic, with opportunities available across a range of industries, including mining, oil and gas and manufacturing. Occupational Hygienists help to keep workers safe and healthy though recognising and controlling chemical, physical and biological hazards in the workplace.

ECU’s Hygiene and Toxicology courses have been developed in close consultation with industry and are taught by experienced practitioners. You’ll also get plenty of hands-on experience in our world class teaching facilities. We’ve invested heavily to ensure our equipment mirrors what you’ll use on the job.
