Wow...my guess...if the trailer is any indicator, Hollywood is going to REALLY regret not picking up this story and putting it out as a true sequel, or perhaps this lives up to the trailer and they do and it’s redone with a Hollywood budget and makes BANK! This actually looks extremely good and has me legitimately excited. I EASILY would’ve handed over my money for a movie ticket. YouTube red subs are going to peak upon release. Nice job!

I don't think Johnny is going to be 'evil' like Kreese. He'll have a rough & tough philosophy of karate, but he won't commit the same sins Kreese did. Kreese cut him from the Cobra Kai team after KK1, and of course he can't forget how Miyagi personally saved him from getting strangled by Kreese.
Having said that, I don't think Daniel is going to be a replicate of Miyagi, either. There's great story potential here to see and compare them as full-fledged sensei in their own right.
