If they really want to get rid of bots and automation they surely are going to monitor clicks with javascript.
In this case selenium is highly detectable.
I would maybe think about selenium together with sikuli. Where you scrape the data with selenium, but click on objects actually with a mousecursor on different, random locations on the target-object. Might be an idea for a future video.

In September 1998 Google was founded. The biggest and most known web scraper today. Now its year 2020. We have ML, AI, tesla and self driving cars but people still write webscrapers like in good old 2000. I like it.

Instead of using sleep function, use the wait function provided by selenium. Sleep function will fail if the page is not loaded in the given amount of time.

I like this video because it reminds me how I became a programmer. Once I wondered if it any way to freed myself from need to do a stupid job. And I googled how to programmatically took control over an instance of the IE browser and made it to collect some information from a website and put it in to an excel sheet, then repeat that operation by schedule every day. Several years later from that point I find myself doing web development as my regular job.
