Is it true that young people want to go to Europe because of what other young people are saying and showing them while abroad?

If life is hell in Europe, my brothers, come back to Africa; this is your home.

This should be shown throughout Europe and Africa

Truth is, nobody back home is listening. There are thousands in the desert right now heading to a dream which just does not exist.

These guys now understand what needs to be done. Africans need to stay in Africa & help build it up.

Life in Europe is also hard if you have no money, documents, language etc. Same as every where else. It's not paved in gold, when will people realise.

I've always thought that social media has sold these people an unattainable dream . Europe has its own issues . A lifestyle isn't gifted to you. You have to work hard and be educated.

These people don't realize that they are not just leaving extreme poverty behind them, but also bringing it with them.

The Europeans are also struggling with life. Surely the governments of these African countries have a lot to answer for

When it gets tough and I think of leaving my motherland, I ask myself, can I live without the dust, the soil, the smiles from my black mums and aunties? The freedom of loudly breathing in and out. Looking at wild birds during sunset. The heat of the day. The stars in the night. Mama Africa is my home my heart.

did they really think just landing in Europe that they'll just welcome them with open arms? no country on earth does that. everywhere has laws and policies.

We did not invite these people. They invited themselves with no skillis or adequate skills. How arrogant that you think to have special treatment.

Absolutely they should go back and take control of their homeland. Create the future they want at home.

The problem with the misplaced compassion of open borders is that it lacks wisdom.

Ghana is one of the safest and stable countries in Africa. Why are Ghanaians subjecting themselves to such horrible lives in Europe?

People go to the countries illegally and then expect the government of that country to take care of them, that makes no sense.

You can always go back. Nobody is holding you here. You miss home, GO BACK. You "braved" the Sahara desert to come in, brave it again to go back.

They don't have documents because they have entered a European country illegally.
