We who grew up here and live here tend to be somewhat jaded. We're so quick to point out all the things that are wrong or that we hate. It's always lovely to see the city through fresh eyes, from someone who hasn't experienced it before. Reminds me that yes, indeed, with all it's faults, it's still a pretty great place to be. Nice to meet you and glad you enjoyed it.

LOVE love love Kensington Market! I'm a Torontonian and need a dose of Kensington every few months like I need therapy. It's just such a cool vibe, chill, everyone hanging together from all walks of life just doing their thing, eating, listening to music, shopping, so cool

Toronto is an amazing city. I've lived here my whole life. The only real negative is it can be expensive. The weather is great, our winters aren't that bad and we have some of the best food in N. America. World class restaurants and tons and tons of things to do.

Spent a lot time in Canada and particularly Toronto. When I lived in Boston, Ma. My friends and I use to drive and sometime fly to Toronto to see the Bluejays, the Raptors and the Maple Leafs teams. Got to love that Skydome. Hope you enjoyed visiting your cousin and friend . Be Well ! Harriet, Jim and Yuki (currently visiting in DC )

If Chicago and Melbourne had a child, it would be Toronto! I feel like they all share a lot of qualities with each other

Kensington Market is a very special place. Incredible food, shops, and culture. It is extremely cool and in my top place to visit multiple times a year. On a hot summer day, you do not feel like you are in Toronto. If you come to Toronto, this is a must visit. Thanks for covering it. ♥♥♥♥

Toronto looks so fun. Canada is definitely a place I’d like to visit again (I went to Niagara Falls about 30 years ago)

A really nice video Phoebe … I ❤️ this one… as you experienced a day as a “local” food, window shopping and a ballgame and local attractions 👌🏻👍

I really need to get to Canada some time. You sell it so well. I spend a lotbof time rooting through vintage shops looking for records. Brilliant again.

True story: I was visiting Toronto during those same CNE weeks and randomly wondered if you’d ever come here. And you did!!! Glad you enjoyed the city, it’s always fun seeing your country through someone else’s POV. That lobster roll looked amazing.

Looking forward to where you go next!

A very excellent Vlog, Toronto has always been on the list. That Carnival looked like so much. I love a good fair.

Toronto might feel somewhat like home to you partly because you have relatives there. But, it might also be because, despite the vast distance and disparity in climates between Canada Australia, it's been noted by many people from both countries who've spent time in the other country, that Canada and Australia are actually quite similar in quite a few ways, such as culturally and politically (both being large countries with small populations which were colonized and developed by the British, but which have also become very multicultural societies). Just a thought.

Should you come back to Toronto again and you don’t want to be stuck in the rain or cold winter weather, use the PATH. It’s an underground network that connects many buildings. For example, you can go from Union Station to CN Tower via the Skywalk. Or head North on the PATH towards Eaton’s Centre. You will find many stores and food courts along the way

I like the province of Ontario's old slogan on our licence plates: Yours to Discover. Toronto and every other cities and towns in the province are proud to carry that slogan on their back. There is so much going on around here. The only thing I have to complain about Toronto is the traffic for those that have motorized wheels!! Yeah, it's so cliche but it's a fact of Toronto. Other than that, Toronto is great! 🙂 You visited Toronto during one of its busiest times with so much happening everywhere every week. Cheers!
