Lean How to Code: From Copy Paste to Comprehension

One of the common complaints that I hear from students is that they feel like they are simply copying and pasting code and not really understanding what they're doing. In this video I discuss how it's 100% fine if you feel this way. True comprehension come from repetition and working through challenging tasks. I also walk through my personal process for learning how to code that has taken me from a beginner to a senior developer.

I admit, I failed learning to code. It just seemed so intangible and far off as a beginner. I just lost interest, multiple times. I wish there was a tutorial that taught you how to copy and paste code to create Projects as a beginner. This would no doubt give beginners like me confidence early on and maybe push us into wanting to learn more

Coding is crazy. You have to be smart. Human intelligence naturally, is mostly proficiency in pattern recognition. There's no pattern to code, it's about memorizing arbitrary information.
