I did buy it. Got a monitor with NVidia’s 3D Vision. Worked great until Nvidia stopped supporting it. Now it’s just a monitor and some glasses that do nothing.

We used to have a 3D TV, some movies and games were great! At some point they just didn't release any more 3D content :(

I remember going over to a wealthy freinds house as a kid and they had a massive one, I still remember how good nature documentaries looked on 3d, wish they ran with this tbh

Literally watching the tv on an old 3d Samsung tv right now, I can’t remember the last time I turned the 3D on though.

I gotta say, playing Black Ops 2 and Gran Turismo 6 on my 3D TV 10 years ago was something I'll never forget.

When it was still a "thing" it was GREAT! The Samsung active 3D glasses were really nice. Not bulky at all.

3D in a VR headset is absolutely amazing though!

I used to love my 3D TV from 2014, I find my current TV not so special, that TV may have been older and slower, but the amount of creativity and effort they put into thinking out LG TVs back in the day was amazing, even my 2012 TV is just as fine, nowadays not much of a difference is seen between TVs of around 400 compared to 800 except screen quality.

Honestly, I'm sad that they stopped being sold just before I was able to start affording things like that.

the 3DS was unironically the best 3D experience I had. That is until VR became a thing

i used my 3d feature of tv a total of 4 times in over 5 years

I did buy it...twice and still have it, and about 150 3d movies. Still have it in all it's 1080p glory.

I already need glasses to see, wearing 2 pairs to enjoy some mild effects was not a vibe with me.
