Our society is facing major healthcare challenges. From global inequalities in maternal and neonatal health provision through to an aging population. And with a rapid increase in chronic diseases, there has never been a more pressing need for innovative healthcare technologies.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals promote healthy lives and well-being for all at all ages. Our research will help in addressing these challenges.

We’re investigating how to develop smart wound dressings, 3D printed biological personalised pills, using quantum sensors to detect and treat diseases and much more.
