MECHANICS HELP-
Blue- Stupid. Just box up.
Cyan- Blue but smart. She sees you if while in the box you move or hold a large item.
Green- He’s blind, and hears and feels for you. If you avoid his arms you can crouch right past him.
Yellow- He grabs you and brings you into the sky. **you can survive him.** by jumping out of his hold while above the bouncy castle.
Purple- In his den, there were rocks on the walls. He cannot grab you on the rocks so run there.

I think they put a timed event in to pressure players to move faster which can lead to more reckless mistakes and eliminations. Pretty clever in a devious sort of way. There is probably a fun cutscene if the players manage to do it though.

Fun fact: Cyan is actually a girl and is the only female rainbow friend that we know of.

She's also the most smartest since she can detect if your box is moving or not and knows that someone in there.

Hey Matt, I just wanna give you some pointers so you can keep looking for lore after this gameplay

Number 1: purple land is not that bad. Those rocks you saw in there where you found the items is a safe spot to avoid him.

Number 2: if yellow catches you, he'll fly you around till he eats you at his nest. To avoid this, jump when you're over the bouncy house.

Number 3: Cyan is a girl not a boy 😂

For purposes of lore hunting, here’s how the rainbow friends work:
Blue: you can outrun him or put your box on (only exception is when the red exclamation point is above your head) with your box on you can literally walk through most of them (excluding green, cyan, orange, and purple)
Green: he is blind. You can dash under his arms but if he touches you while in your box you will die. You can hear him by the squeaking his feet make when he walks.
Yellow: the same mechanics as blue only if he catches you, you can escape. When he catches you, jump when you’re over the bouncy house to escape.
Cyan: same mechanics as blue and yellow only when in your box you can’t move until she’s passed.
Purple: in his lair you can stand in the rocks and he won’t grab you. However the other rainbow friends (blue and yellow especially) can go into purples lair as well so you can put your box on while on the rocks.
Orange: you can be in your box around him as long as you’re not in his path.

Every character also has their own unique sound. (Green’s feet squeak, Blue roars, etc.)

I’m pretty sure they we’re trying trying to get people out of their boxes for that “timed” round, but didn’t want to punish people who got bad luck and got stuck because of camping.

He found a secret ending for the timed level. If you found out the rookie's same with stop halfway then he'd be left down.

i would suggest you looking at Color or Die, im not going to spoil much but the whole point is to get through the maze while avoiding the "monster" i suppose something happened for him to be like that (evil), anyways you paint yourself and there is colored walls and you hide beside them. he doesn't see you if your color matches the wall but if you are not painted or your color doesn't match the wall he can see you.
there is a total of 3 chapters with 3 being the newest
i really hope you see this cause i think it is worth it.

During the Cyan chase there are blocky and non-living versions of the mascots. Maybe they are some sort of prototypes 🤔
