KAS:ST - Hell on Earth [TRACK ANALYSIS]

If you're anything like me, music hits you all at once - like a big wave rolling over you.

In order to learn to make better music, it's important to sit down and pay analytical attention to all the different parts of our favourite music. To give them names. To list them.

That way, in time, we discover which musical techniques we want to take away to use in our own music.

In this video we take such a closer look at Hell on Earth by KAS:ST. It's rolling apocalyptic techno with a sweet and melancholic vibe.

I was just randomly going through Kas:st videos and checked this one, okay? And seen Hell on Earth is analyzed made me felt like attacked. This is sacred song for most of us. I hope you don't get me wrong, I appreciate your work with all respect. It just felt very wrong very deep in my heart.

Between Ipotocaticac's "Le Grand Accelerateur" and "Machine Vs Wild, " and KASST's " Hell on Earth" you've basically listed off my all-time favorite tracks that give me goosebumps every single time I listen to them without fail. Hell on Earth is nothing short of worship music to me.

Wow that was an amazing breakdown of such a great track! 5:30 I love this, "going from happy to melancholic", I've never heard it being described like that and it's one of my favourite harmonic styles but never knew how to describe it.

You should know background of this track as well to fully understand it, as they said they produced this track in 2 days after a very emotional gig in KHIDI, this is for sure a massive track and thank you for such an explanation.
