Welcome to Unit 5 Michele Pistone

In this Video, Professor Michele Pistone, Founder of VIISTA, welcomes you to unit 5 of the VIISTA program. In unit 5, you will learn about the reception and contributions by migrants in receiving countries. Faith based and grassroots local organizations are usually among the first groups to welcome immigrants to new communities. In this unit, you will learn about the groups in your local community that support migrants. You will also engage in self care and upload a clip from the interview you did with a relative or friend about a cultural or religious tradition.
