'The Process' - How to screen print a 3 color/1 location design

We blend the daily activity of our print shop, into the visual process of creating and printing a 3 color/1 location design.

The video opens with a glimpse into what the final print will look like. Then we jump into "The Process" of creating the films from our print-ready artwork, exposing and washing out the screens, registering the job on press and finally back to our finished print! All while being taken on a quick journey around Four Ambition.

Very cool video. Looks like a nice shop. People always ask me about working with unexposed screens in light. I try to explain that we use yellow safe lights as a precaution but most emulsions are only sensitive to UV light. Therefore you can actually do what you did here without much of a problem most of the time. Come get some Catspit~!

Thank you very much for posting this video! This video is definitely going to be on my favourites for a long time to come. As a newbie to the art of screen printing I find myself digging deeper and deeper into this world. Each layer presenting its own layer of pitfalls and satisfaction. Lots and lots of trial and error (and tears...shhhh) so its really helpful to see that as long as i keep trying it will work out. thanks again.
