I was under the assumption that these are rare. I never see them anymore. But apparently there are more on the east coast?

I worked at Pizza hut. They had this juke box that played "who let the dogs out" and all the stupid kids would come in and toss like 10 bucks in the machine and play it over and over.

Man the 80's and 90's was so cool. Life was good.
The simple stuff like having an actual dine-in experience at a pizza hut really rocks. I remember when they had the salad bars. The free pizza with the book-it programs. The I-Spy puzzle books while you wait.

Some of the best Friday nights of my life were when we would go eat some Pizza Hut, then go to Blockbuster and rent an N64 game for the weekend. Life couldn’t have gotten much better than that and I didn’t even realize it until decades later. Pizza Hut was awesome.

In Sweden they still have a buffet and salad/saucebar but its not a hats off type place. They also have a softserve icecream machine thats included in the buffet with different toppings to choose from.

Im so glad my nearest Pizza Hut still has a dine in with working TV’s, Salad Bar, and serve the pizzas on the pan and they seat you.

as a kid, Pizza Hut was a big deal, but eating out everywhere was. even fast food like McDonalds felt like going to a theme park. dine-in just because so plain and boring over the last two decades

In 1999 I had a friend who’s parents were the managers at our town’s only Pizza Hut. Even after school at 3:30 it was ~busy~ and they were always hectic in the kitchen. We got free breadsticks as snacks. It’s hard to see our childhood die, but we’ll make new traditions for the next generation.

It's really sad to hear that all of the dine in Pizza Huts are disappearing. My first job as a teenager was waiting tables in one and I did it for a bit while at University and I met some of the greatest people doing late shifts there. The pay was absolutely terrible and I got sick of the food within about 2 weeks but I always look back on it as a pretty great time

I loved the old school Pizza Hut buildings. They are just so nostalgic. The one close to my house in the old style building just moved into a carry out/delivery building and this saddened my heart.

I live in a small town of 5k stuck in the 80s we have a dine in Pizzahut naturally. We also have soda shops and a drive inn too.

Sadly the only Pizza Hut in our town right on the border of Oregon and Washington just closed like a month ago :( It was in the original style building too. We never went in there though, everything was sticky and smelled like old grease.
