I honestly was pregnant when I got my hero5 black, and then shelved it until today. I didn't think I had a charger, kept meaning to buy one, and had a busy baby that screamed and cried and didn't feel like messing with learning it all. I grabbed it today cos I am out of town visiting family and we were gonna go to the pool. I took a tonnnn of photos and videos, just watched them and WOW the quality is FANTASTIC. I am now taking a deep dive to learn the INS and outs but tbh it worked great for just point and shoot if you're a newbie like me. If you're thinking of getting one and see it for $100, go for it . It's still fantastic quality and I took many underwater photos and videos with it today

I have two of them now i just got a used one on ebay for $60 with nothing, but i have 4 batteries and accessories.
It is really good for the price and my first one still works fine with no touchscreen (water damage) you just change settings with the front screen

If you can color grade you will be able to use this camera until 8k becomes the norm
