Add-ins for Excel: How they work, and an intro to the Javascript API for Office

An Office Add-in is simply an extension that appears in the UI of an Office App. In this video you'll see me walk through a simple tutorial app called API Tutorial (available for free on the Office Store)

This walkthrough will demonstrate how the Javascript API for Office allows your Add-in to interact with data in an Excel spreadsheet by reading and writing from a range of cells.
