I like to use Libby, it’s free and all you need is a TPL library card(also free) the books are basically every book you’d find at every branch in the city but on your phone, if it’s a popular book though you might have to wait many weeks though.

I use thrift books. If your order is over $15 you get free shipping. Most books are around $4 and they have all types of editions for collectors. I got the original British Harry Potter covers

Libby has save me probably thousands at this point, so so helpful. I have library cards from everywhere Ive lived and can still access all the ebooks from Libby

I used z-lib and library genesis for personal readings and for school textbooks. Never did I have to pay hundreds of dollars and it was all on my tablet. For free! 😄

Love the way you styled this video!! Great concept, and you’re so right!! The key here, is patience and digging (and knowing where to look)!! 🎉

Most public libraries will let you request books they don't already have through interlibrary lones, or suggest new books for them to buy. Use all of the resources of your local library, they are amazing.

Don’t forget thrift stores! Maybe not the best for finding an exact book, but if you’re browsing for something new, they’ve usually got something good

If you already have a library card and don’t mind digital books or prefer audio books Hoopla and Libby are good options.

And then theres me who waits for the yearly book fair in my city to buy a bunch of books. It is pretty crowded but since it is publishing houses selling the books you get em very cheap+a bunch of coupons are distributed almost at every entrance so yeah
