Post match breakdown yay or nay? Had one person tell me it's boring haha but also many say they enjoy it. The human mind naturally gives weight and attention to the negative. I just want to make the best videos possible so let me know!

I love how you teach the concepts in your rolls. As a 48 year old white belt it really helps me out. I watch all your basic videos before I roll. I thank you for putting the time and effort into this channel. I got my 2nd stripe on Monday. I thank you for that.

The commentary after the roll was very helpful. I hope you continue this format. Thanks for the good content.

That post match breakdown is sooo good! The details that matter are easily overlooked during the live rolls.

My game has improved so much as a 9 month white belt ever since I’ve been studying your videos religiously here recently. Thank you for your dedication to teach others.

"Don't waste your time on grips that won't help you". So simple. Yet so difficult for a new white belt to remember. Golden nugget though. Thank you for your videos!

Jordan, your videos are the best. The way you break down the *why* of techniques is both unique and incredibly helpful. During my rolls, I often think to myself "Am I in a position where I have them above my hips to sweep?" and "Will this grip help me accomplish what I want to do?"

Many thanks from a white belt. You're helping me work my way to blue a lot faster.

4:10 as a white belt, what sort of grips help could Nathan make to control your hips?

Been binging your videos lately and was just watching the last one of these before catching the upload. Keep up the good work, man.

Hey Bro, just found your channel. You are a great teacher! Your delivery is so well spoken. You seem like a very humble dude. "Warrior in a garden" type. I've never tried jiu-jitsu but I'm planning to join a gym soon. It seems like an addiction I want to have and I'm excited to learn from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Appreciate the post roll explanation. Nice to see another white belt video, I can tell we roll slower because have to think about next steps.

Oh Man! This is exactly what I was looking for!!
I was a newly wed and started taking bjj classes over 15 years ago. Was in classes for a few months and went to a seminar, but it wasn’t long after that I had to quit, (broke, new wife, new job etc. a lot was happening). Anyway, I continued educations through online club, books, and dvds… so I learned techniques but practically never rolled.

This explains and breaks down what’s going on during rolling, cause what good are techniques if you don’t know WHEN or HOW to apply them on the fly and under pressure. So point is… I subscribed!!

I need more of these breakdowns! As a new white belt, I don't know what positions to avoid and don't understand how I keep putting myself in bad spots. I keep making the same mistakes because I don't know what mistakes I'm actually making. This video really helped me understand a few things better. Thanks!
