Showed this to my dad, I won’t forget the smile he had on his face when reciting some of the lines from some of the commercials and songs

Those dot matrix printers were LOUD, but the paper used with them was wonderful! We used to get so excited when Dad would bring home a stack of printouts they no longer needed at the office. Perfect drawing paper! I still have some from when the office my husband worked at finally upgraded their printers in the 1990’s. I couldn’t let them throw all of it away!

The wave that came over me when the CBS special sounded. It usually meant a cartoon at night! Charlie Brown, the Grinch, Rudolph, it was popcorn and a toon on the 13”! We’d always check the TV Guide and knew when and what channel. Everything, I mean everything, here was an instant time warp. During the summer Mom would be rocking the game shows, doing laundry. And what about the “cachank, chank, chank” sound of the Six Million Dollar Man leaping? Rotary phone - hope not a lot of 7, 8, 9s - you’d be dialing all day. Wow.

Sounds of my childhood. Loved that the last sounds were the last sounds you’d hear when the networks would go off the air in the middle of the night! Awesome! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Oh. I remember. Those were the days. Some of you may never know that. But anyone from that era I’m sure knows what I’m talking about.

My dad showed me this because I came to show him some generation gaps that I thought were funny and when he put this on and watched this with me he smiled and it looked like it brought back some of his childhood memories. Thank you😁😁😁
