The point of a welping box is that the sides have a lip for the pups to get under so that their mom doesn't lay on top of them and suffocate them.

Well get prepared - 63-65 days about 10-12 puppies also get a kiddie pool the large size molded type!

I would also separate them. It is a huge strain on them both. Twice is more than enough

Your description is so funny. Well. Nana now loves Brutes! At least for now! We had that happened when my kids little and the neighbors dogs in a kennel. We could watch them right through the kitchen window. All, all day long! Yah, it was an education for them!

Oh my goodness! lol. I can't imagine all the questions the kids asked lol.I will never forget the day back in 1973, I was at the bus stopped with the other kids, and just as the bus was coming towards us, my two dogs did that. I was totally embarrassed and for the longest time the kids would tease me about it. Not to mention the parents calling my Mom and Dad, because their little children were telling them about what they saw, and they were so curious lol. God Bless Y'all.

Just a warning she can have 2 litters a year. So, you may want to fix the problem soon after puppies arrive. Good luck, I love puppies.

Look into a having an overnight litter nanny because those first couple of weeks can be brutal overnight depending on how large the litter is.

Omgoodness guys! I know where you are coming from. Lol. Had 3 chihuahuas already & decided to adopt a beautifully sweet chihuahua/papillion mix that just stole my heart. We wanted to breed her with another papillon but the neighborhood chihuahua stud, that doesn't follow our community leash laws might I add, literally chewed boards of our fence to break her out of the backyard when she went into heat! Ugh. Guess it was... love at first bite. 😉🤭 Lol. Several weeks later, we received 4 beautiful puppies. One was 'gifted' to the family responsible for said stud, but it broke my heart because I get attached to my babies very easily. So... now we have 7 that are loved and adored by our 'pack'. It's quite the handful but with each personality comes so much love and laughter that it's so worth it. 😁💖👊 Good times! God bless and keep you & yours always!
