Показать описание
Opened in 1925, this bank is the only building in town that reaches 5 stories and has had a bunch of stories to tell within and outside its walls. Designed by Charles L. Thompson, he blended the styles of Classical Revival and Craftsman styles. Two sets of drawings show that is was originally only meant to be one story. The bank printed $401,360 worth of national currency, which was a standard output. Some of these notes are rare today (the $10 blue seal national bank note and the $20 blue seal national bank note). It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22nd, 1982.
