I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?

Scotiabank used to have a really classic and good-looking logo and a few years ago someone changed it, for no real reason and now it looks like crap. I can imagine the thought process went something like, "I will get a bonus if I can change something. Let's convince the CEO and the board that the current logo we've had for decades, which is iconic, historic and relevant for a multinational bank, by the way, isn't really that easy to see clearly on a phone so let's just junk it and we'll keep the basic outline and now, instead of the circle being reminiscent of a stylized Earth, we'll just make it a blank circle and it'll cost us tens of millions of dollars to change signage and stationary and whatnot, but it'll seem more modern somehow and I'll be gone from the company soon anyway." Thanks for trashing decades of history and brand value for nothing. Hope you got your fat bonus for trashing a piece of Canadian history! Memo to TD, National Bank and RBC, please don't do the same.
