Did they take easily to the frames in the honey box? Another youtube beekeper had the issue with bees ignoring those frames and had to cover them with wax.

Ive heard from other bee keepers that they had to either pre-coat the frames in bees wax or wait till the bees were almost honey bound before they took to the new frames. Did you have the same experience or did they take to the new frames right away? I make my own mead and have been looking into bee keeping to help offset the cost of the honey

I noticed that this year I saw waay more honey bees and way fewer yellow jackets. Was it like that where you (who ever is reading this) live? This is the first time I can remember it being this way in maybe 20-30 years.
