Do-it-at-home cave diving: blindfold yourself in your bathroom, spin around a few times, then find your way to your kitchen, pour yourself a glass of milk and drink it. That's in your own kitchen with no worries about air. Now imagine doing that in some stranger's home, weightless, underwater, wearing fins, scuba gear, and with a 10 minute time limit. I read that half of training for cave certification is done blindfolded.

I am grateful to all explorers, be it diving or space or otherwise. I have no personal desire to do these things but I enjoy seeing the beauty of the places and am saddened people have lost their lives. The world needs adventurers.

I cant even imagine how it must be to get lost in a underwater cave knowing you will run out of air sometime soon.

My biggest fear is water, since I've almost drowned myself at 8 y/o. Yet, I want to get a diver's certificate only to overcome my fear.
Watching this doesn't really help, but in some weird way inspire me to dive anyway 😂

Also, I love when videos' about an hour or so, because this is what I watch at home, sitting comfortable in my chair knitting gloves 😁

Requirements for Cave Diving:
Insufficient equipment and a frontal lobotomy!
Well it appears so anyway.

Unlike other sports or activities diving is one that is fairly unforgiving. 1. Complacency is definitely one common theme I see. When other potential death activities you'd think twice or thrice about it, but the diver may find that, oh it won't happen to me, I'm safe/I'm competent etc. But as seen in a few of these videos, the factors that may cause your death may as well not be you. 2. Once you enter the water the countdown begins, awareness of your surroundings is important here along with that requires specific training and proper equipments and backup system. One cannot be wandering and goes off the tangent of the original intended activities and timeline...

I do not understand who is pushing Ben mcdaniels family to believe he's still there. Whilst they are looking there the person who clearly killed him is laughing. If Ed Sorrenson says he is not in the cave then he is not in the cave.
