remember! upgrade a 8gb ram stick in windows cost you 40$, don't go with MacBook if you can not afford the upgraded version ram && ssd.
pro users use 32 gb ram now and most user should go with 16gb ram, OR ALEAST upgradeable 8gb ram laptop

Any macbook with an Apple Silicon processor is great. From M1 up to M3 MAX. I'm a software engineer, i use a Macbook Pro M1 as my daily for work. The battery is just amazing, and is fast as fuck. I have a thinkpad L15 with an I7 11th (wich is great too), but the Macbook is just way too more confortable to use, battery last way more, never slows down and the display is amazing. Im looking to buy the Air version from 2020 that has an M1 too.

the performance difference between the m2 and the m1 is so little and you save so much money going with the m1. the only thing you lose out on is the magsafe pretty much. the ssd in the m1 is also faster.

I can save you all some time. The best laptop is not necessarily an apple. What is your skillset with a computer and what do you need it for? Its not ALWAYS going to be an apple

the on;y apple product that has sense to buy is the ipad, so that you have all the apps specifically for only apple and still the performance, + it is like a drawing tab so if you are a designer or smt similar it's even easier

Everyone complaining about the price for students. Macbook is just about the only computer I see Swedish college students using but then they aren't paying zillions for their college educations, either.

I use the MacBook Air for professional photography. All adobe apps work with no issues at all.
