The funny part is that after Hawkeye stopped Wanda, he said “I’ve tried the whole mind control thing. Not a fan.” He was referencing to when he was mind controlled in the first avengers movie.

Her "mind control" of Thor also lead him to see the mind stone and allowed Vision to be created. Of all the people who got controlled he didn't even miss a beat and wasn't harmed at all.
