never owned a club in the last 15 years without a headcover on it...people say it slows them down or the clubs rust but neither of those is true once u get a little more used to using them...got a blue n white thing going on..mizuno blue n white iron covers..jpx 850 woods (how blue n white are they) bag towels etc etc..i do think castings are definitely better feeling than they used to be i have owned mizuno castings and they have felt great..but u can certainly tell a club is forged and i can certainly tell a mizuno forging from other brands (doesnt make them better but they are a distinctive feel)...if my clubs had bag chatter on them i would be suicidal..lol...and no wear marks..just wipe ur clubface (how hard can it be.lol)..i have sold irons 3-4 years old that people have thought were unused on a course..only takes a little bit of care and ur clubs stay pristine.
