In Oct 2020 the band released their first album in 5 years, III, scorching the earth with pure primitive rock and roll mastery captured by the sonic guru Steve Albini. It’s a record that is meant to be heard and experienced live, and their Levitation Sessions set is the smoldering slab of heavy psych we’ve all been waiting for, recorded at Zebulon in Los Angeles, CA. Director Joshua Erkman alongside sound engineers Matthew Littlejohn and Mike Kriebel, capture FUZZ’s intense energy backdropped by electric artwork from artist Tatiana Kartomten.

These dudes are easily the best Rock band out there. I believe it’s their best project band, but I love all of their other ventures. Fuzz shows melt your face, it’s loud, it’s clear with just enough technicality to show they know what they’re doing, this ain’t no accident. Them switching up from their regular instruments gives the raw sound that is craved.

I love how Chad is serving the sound of the first album tracks by playing with a pick on them. He wasn't the bassist on that one. Chad has a band called Meatbodies where he rips on guitar and sings. Meatbodies's first album has Corey from Wand ripping all over it too. So many killer cats in that scene...
