Very informative. The video has actually helped answer a few of my questions, thank you. I'm based in a tropical country where the climate is either hot and dry or hot and wet.. decided to trial growing apples as potted plants for decorative purposes as getting a tree to maturity and fruiting would be a miracle in this climate. So far have succeeded in activating the seeds and have them now in the sprouting/seedling stage. Looking forward to more updates on your potted tree for more tips etc..

I’m buying an Apple tree, is a concrete container necessary? I wanted to be able to bring mine in if we got tornadoes here in Alabama and I know I wouldn’t be able to lift that kind of pot even if it was empty

I'm over concrete pots for anything nice I want to grow, nothing does well in them, they do something to the soil inside I'm thinking, like leach alkaline salts maybe … (also, that's the reason I think you are not meant to make a fish pond out of concrete).
