In this episode, friends discuss how how they feel about the Capitol Hill riots, cousins ask if the response would have been different if the rioters were POC, a couple discuss their fears about being targeted at Black Live Matters protests, and a married couple discuss how people judge them for their race and sexuality.

Each week we create space for people around the world to open up to one another as part of our greater ambition to encourage the exploration of current events through the lens of human connection. In a rapidly-shifting world, we’re happy to offer this real-time glimpse into the events of the week through {THE AND} online sessions.

To everyone who has participated openly and vulnerably in our project - we appreciate what you have shared with us and hope others do as well.

{THE AND} This Week is a digital extension of our Emmy-Award winning documentary experience, {THE AND}. At THE SKIN DEEP, we create digital doses of humanity as we continue to explore the nuances of human connection and experience while encouraging deep listening. It’s a momentous time in history, and we feel it’s necessary and much-needed to stay in touch with what makes us human as we continue to learn from our connections and lift each other up.

Maybe change the title from "couples" since these are different kinds of relationships presented.
