One of my all time favorite cinematic scenes is that moment when Franz meets Mieze in "Berlin Alexanderplatz." It went beyond instant attraction. Beyond love at first sight. It was as if both had been struck by an electrical current. If that was a Fassbinder "one take, " kudos to the acting talent of both Mr. Lamprecht and Ms. Sukowa.
