Qualitative Analysis Lab- General Chemistry Experiment

In this experiment, I am performing many classic qualitative analyses to test for the presence of four cations (Na +, Ba 2+, Ca 2+, NH4 +,) and six anions (NO3 -, Co3 2-, Cl-, Br-, I-, SO4 2-) in Part A and Part B, respectively. The ions all have distinct reactivities that will come into play in the tests and allow separation and identification of the ions. I tested known cations and anions for reference tests and then tested an unknown cation and an unknown anion. Take note on the known reactions and compare them to the unknown reactions to see if you can come to your own conclusions about the unknown ions being tested!
