California wildfires: Thompson Fire Update - July 3, 2024

Thousands of people are still away from their homes due to evacuations from the Thompson Fire in Butte County.

Oroville is my hometown, and a few years ago, the mountain towns above it, Berrycreek and Feather Falls burnt down, a few years before that the campfire burned down Paradise taking a dozen of my family members homes. The state of California is doing nothing in the forest to help mitigate these fires even though the budget has been raised to 2 billion a year specifically to help thin the forest and do massive controled burns. They are laying off firefighters and closing fire stations in the mountains where these fires happen and the money is staying in the city. The democrat scum continue to fail the people of California and its heartbreaking.
