our microbiology teacher said we use ELISA and IFA to diagnose Lyme disease but you said we don't use ELISA ... Which one should I believe?? (btw thanks for the video, it's so memorizable for med students.)

Some good and basic info. Bells Palsy isn't a good indicator, however. Don't rely on that. The western blot test is typically good, and wasn't mentioned. Also dark field microscopy is good for testing.

Where I live black legged deer ticks only present the red bullseye appearance so if in the woods etc cover the legs and use tick repellent.
