loving everything in this video. the joy and satisfaction of living in a countryside, camping with your sister, the river, everything. i miss my hometown, romblon. i really wanna go home and do things like what you two are doing. btw, this made me relaxed. im so stressed with my work right now and wanted to go back to the province .thank you for this, ate hannah. so relaxing and fun to watch.

❤❤❤ what a great video Hannah! I don't have a sister, but you two are so lucky to have each other and to be like minded. I imagined the whole way through what it must have been like. Mosquitoes and all. Isn't it true camp food is the BEST! I'm thinking I'll start doing those on my bbq. Even if it's cold n wet outside 🎉

I have been living vicariously through these videos of Hannah's for a long time now and I really want to start doing more... "nature" adventures.
I grew up in a huge city and moved from city to city. I'm a city kid through and through, I've never even done "real" camping before. My family and I have done hikes and stayed at campgrounds... but never camping in the wild.
I really want to.

But I have... no idea where to start. I actually tried 2 weeks ago to look for areas that I can camp at. I found a public lake and I went on my state's conservation website and it says it was allowed to camp and fish there. I got a permit and everything. I was so excited to do it.

I went and and before I even got set up, some locals came by and told me I needed to go away and that I was "trespassing". I triple/quadruple checked and it was public land! They started threatening me, so I quickly left the area.

I checked again when I left and it was for sure public land.

Is there a website or resource I can use to learn about where I can or can't stay? I am so confused. So... my first adventure was a bust, sadly.
