Archiving a 3ds Max project with Unite

Frustrated with missing bitmaps, X-refs and proxies when you open an old 3ds Max 3D scene?

How much time and money have you wasted sending failed jobs to cloud render farms?

Unite was designed to fix these problems eliminating the human-error possibilities when archiving 3ds Max projects.

To archive a scene using Unite.
- First run the relink process to ensure all bitmaps, X-refs, proxies etc are linked to the scene. (UNITE will not archive if files are missing!)

- Next, open the Archive tab and set the folder path to save into.
- Create a name for the archive project.
- Click Archive Project.
This will save all associated files into the new project folder, creating subfolders for materials, X-refs, proxies and simulations. Next, it will save a new 3ds Max scene and re-path all the files to the new scene.

Once complete you can archive or send this folder to a render farm, knowing it's self-contained.

Hello, can you make an opportunity to save/archive project with different versions of file. Often need to save to a previous version of 3dsmax. Thank you!
