James Jones has objectively the best takes on this show and it isn’t particularly close.

Justin Fields was never going to beat out Russell Wilson, the media just ran with that narrative because Mike Tomlin didn’t even say that.

I still think Fields will overcome all of this. The disrespect is brazy. That boy puts in work. He will come out great in the end. You can’t hide greatness forever.

In 4 years Fields has been in 3 different offensive systems, played behind a line with only one starter, a center who has under 50 snaps at center in his career, has never played under center. What are you looking at.

It was perfect fields. A bunch of horrible plays then a couple of plays that make you have hope. Repeat at nauseam until your fired

18 minutes on Justin Fields in a preseason game. Times must be tough on Speak.

James Jones is really good at what he does without having to scream, wine, and repeat himself

Russell Wilson had back to back All-pro caliber seasons in 2019-20. Aint no way he could fall off that hard to not start em.

"Is Russ good?" Last year he literally had more touchdowns and less interceptions than Jaylen Hurts

One of those sacks was against our rookie RT who was up against a good NFL pass rusher.

The fumbled snaps isn't just on Fields. The center isn't even a pure center. He is a backup guard playing center. Funny how when our rookie, 2nd rd pick (center), who is a PURE center, came in the game there wasn't another fumble.

Justin was different from all OSU QBs before him. He has real arm strength, is a great athlete and downfield accuracy was better than any one of them. He held on the ball and was slow to certain progressions. He got to Chicago and was supposed to be on the bench his first year because Nagy wanted him to have full grasp of the playbook and learn from Dalton. He was forced into action before they were ready and he was under pressure early, as the season went on he got better. He had the flashes ie Pittsburgh, Detroit, 49ers and Minnesota games. His second year, the new regime tore the building apart to the scraps, Justin struggled but once they self scouted, he had one of the greatest QB rushing seasons ever, but last year didn’t have the talent around him to win.

As a bears fan, I wish Fields the best, but this performance pretty much describes most games he played in Chicago.

Justin missed a few games and was 1 game away from the playoffs.. If the Bears Defense was healthy in the beginning of the season.. Either way, Go Chicago 🐻

Justin Fields is what the NFL media thought 2018 Lamar Jackson was going to turn out to be
