The issue with spikes is that the top attack aint top attacking.

The top attack mode is supposed to hit the roof at a shallow angle, but how its like in game is just that the missile flies up then dives back down and hits the frontal armour straight on, so essentially a standard atgm except it does a roller coaster. And not only that it hits centre of mass (most of the time hitting the gun barrel or gun breach when facing off frontally)
