Robot-built house, would you live in it?

A building site in China has a new team of workers, and they are all hard at work: polishing, measuring, even cleaning up. But they look a bit different to your average construction workers. For one thing, they aren't even human!

this would be great for pre-fab homes, so the robots can work in a warehouse somewhere with extra supervision.

The Westerner will comes out to say, China are discriminating the robots, without wages, proper accomodations, rest etc.
They western will come out with robots labor enactment laws on discrimination of robots.

how much does it lower cost of the units by? not that labor is the main cost of over priced houses, these robots also solve the inefficiencies in the overall process. so I'm curious to know how much of that savings is passed onto the buyers.

With this, hiring skilled construction workers at another location would not be a problem, since it’s not needed. It also facilitates more sophisticated designs to become reality. China is doing geopolitical project of Belt and Road Initiatives in Central Asia, and imagine this builds in Afghanistan.

China is developing all the pieces needed to build Outpost on the Moon, Mars and other planets. These robots will be able to build the settlements on Mars before the Chinese taigonauts arrive.

Yes, good to have robots build buildings. Singapore could also do with this technology and reduce the use of low cost foreign manual labour. Less social problems, dependence on external labour force and more jobs for local engineers.

To answer the question in the title: not right away. I'd wait until after considerable amount of time have passed. In other words, I would use the early adopters as guinea pigs. Design problems aside, quality control problems in house construction don't appear right away until after considerable use.
