Fun fact: In Mexico most of these types of songs/ genre (Corridos.) just narrate the reputation or the life of infamous drug lords known in history, so it was genius that the creators of breaking bad went with this theme because in real life, there would actually be something like this compose to Heisenberg. (Walter White.)

I'd imagine long after the events of Breaking Bad and BCS that this song still echoes throughout Albuquerque, keeping the memory of Heisenberg alive.

The city is called "Duke" because it's named for the 10th Duke of Alburquerque (Francisco V Fernández de la Cueva y Fernández de la Cueva), who was the viceroy of New Spain. The 19th Duke of Albuquerque is alive today.

I had to check at least 3 times to make sure this was the right show the first time I saw it lol.

This song was the cold opening to an episode, so it was literally the very first scene from Breaking Bad that I ever watched. I thought then, "This is interesting." Imagine if J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist who spent so much time horseback riding in New Mexico and who knew Werner Heisenberg personally, came back to life and watched this music video and program.

I don't know where this takes place in the Breaking Bad universe, on a YouTube video or what, but I will always wonder what Hanks reaction would be if he saw this.
