With DSM’s granular user management options, you can delegate privileges for users/groups, manage shared folder access permissions, storage/shared folder quotas, bandwidth limitations along with privacy of files and folders using ACL. What’s more, with Application Portal, you can allow users to directly access and run applications in independent windows without going through the hassle of logging into DSM, thereby enhancing security and convenience.

This is not intuitive to understand. On the one hand, read/write privileges are set for folders. On the other hand, it says under Preview that access is still not granted. Look at 3:05 . It is frustrating.

File sharing is not clear enough to users. It's also not practical at all.
I have to have a simple file tree and do it very simply with whom to share a file and not to whom.
