The best and surest way to defeat sins of the flesh and live a pure life is to dedicate yourself to Jesus through Mary. She is most pure and was the living tabernacle. She will crush the serpents head. The Rosary, especially, which you should have your priest bless, and the wearing of the miraculous medal which you should also have blessed. Jesus came to you through Mary, go to Him through her, it pleases Him because you show Him that you love This Virgin Mother whose blood nourished and mixed with His divine blood in her Blessed Womb.

I'm 71 over the decades I have had intervals of starts & stops in my spiritual growth; the times between these intervals was filled with non stop mortal sins...however Philippians 3:13-16 had been burned into my memory & it is in those words of St Paul that, even great a sinner as I am, set me upon the straight path so as I never ceased to press forward, toward the mark, of the high calling of God, in Jesus Christ. It is so important to put your past behind you & stay in the Present, as this the only place where our Lord Jesus Christ is met; & take it from my experience, you will meet Him there. Be aware of what fruits Holy Spirit may have given you, this is encouragement to keep striving toward the goal St Paul speaks of; utilize the those fruits to become an example so as to help others. God bless all of us; Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us. Amen
