Spring Boot Project Challenge #3 - Handling Optional Request Parameters in Spring MVC / REST API
Показать описание
In this video we will learn to accept user input and handling optional request parameters.
In this series of videos we are building a spring boot project i.e a game called Guess The Word. To guess a character present inside a word, we should enter a char inside a text box. Our aim is to design this text box using thymeleaf. We can then try taking the input and then process it further for evaluation.
now the challenge is, the request parameter may always not going to be available inside the url. So this video shows the way we should use @RequestParam(required=false).
00:00 - Introduction
00:40 - next spring boot project challenge
02:55 - Building a form using spring mvc and thymeleaf
07:51 - Request param in spring boot
10:32 - @Requestparam in springboot
14:11 - @Requestparam(required=false) use case
