I top out at 78 mph in my 16 foot charger built 30+ years ago. That speed on water is no joke at that length you feel everything and can die in seconds if something goes wrong.

I love crazy and terrifying boats with huge motors. The wiggle bounce and flex just add to the adrenaline I’m feeling when I pushing to speeds above 60 plus. Especially if I haven’t paid it off yet. 😂😂

The biggest problem at that speed for a small boat is that it becomes airborn if it hits a small wake off a larger boat.

I had a 17.5 ft. Regal with a 4.3 liter V6 that did 50mph. That was fast enough for me and it only cost me the engine.
Oh, and it had enough comfortable seats to carry 6 people.

That's not amazing that it goes 90 mph. It has a monstrous 300. Whats amazing is it cost 30, 000 without an engine.

A 300 mercury Racing motor is 35 grand. so the whole package is 68 grand to go 90 mph.
