It is not possible for a human being to obey the law perfectly. If it was we wouldn’t need Jesus. Matthew 5:21-30 is Jesus talking to people who think they are carrying out the law perfectly.

Total misunderstanding of Paul but to be expected. Lawless men have been doing that since Paul was alive.

The Law of Moses was weak through the flesh, it was a curse, it was condemnation, and it ministered death because they could not keep it.
Therefore if righteousness were by the law, there would have been no need for a new covenant.
The law passed away, and though glorious, it had no glory by reason of that which exceeded in glory 2 Cor 3.
The law was abolished Ephesians 2.
The law was blotted out Col. 2
The law was disannulled Heb 8.
We have new and better covenant, established upon better promises, dedicated by the blood Jesus.
The law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did. By one sacrifice Jesus purged our sins for once and for all.
Those who claim to keep the law are deceiving themselves,
There is no temple, no altar, no Levitical priesthood, and no sacrifices for the sins of the people.
But the priesthood being changed necessitates a change in the law. Wherefore, Jesus is our High Priest forever, after the order of Melchisidek. Grace and peace.

It's interesting how some individuals pick and choose the parts of the Law they want to keep and parts of The Scriptures they want to present or even take heed to. To understand the reason/purpose of the Law is indeed a great help for the true Believer.

L♥️VE for FATHER HOLY LIVING GOD and L♥️VE for one's neighbor summarizes all of the Ten Commandments (Ex 20:1-17: Lev 19:18; Deut 6:5; Rom 13:10). ONLY LORD CHRIST MESSIAH JESUS SAVES!
